Significant Acquisitions

1Password has acquired Apono, specializing in access governance, reportedly for between $250 million and $300 million. This acquisition aims to enhance 1Password’s identity security platform.

A10 Networks has acquired TrojAI, an AI security firm, to augment its offerings with AI red-teaming and runtime protection capabilities.

Accenture has made a significant investment of $4.175 billion to acquire a majority stake in Dragos and full ownership of runZero and NetRise. This move is designed to create an integrated industrial cybersecurity platform.

Strategic Intentions

Cisco intends to acquire WideField Security, a startup focused on identity threat detection to enhance its Splunk platform capabilities. This marks Cisco's third security acquisition in 2026, following its acquisitions of Astrix Security and Galileo.
