Drop BMR1 V2 speakers discounted to $23 from $130
Key points
- Discounted price of $23.99 from $130
- BMR1 V2 features improved cooling
- Speakers can be oriented vertically or horizontally
Details of the Discount
The Drop BMR1 V2 speakers are currently available for $23.99 through a limited-time deal on Woot. Originally priced at $130, this represents an 82% discount, making it an attractive offer for potential buyers looking for quality desktop speakers.
Improvements in the V2 Model
The BMR1 V2 is an upgraded version of the original BMR1, addressing several issues found in its predecessor. Notably, the right speaker runs 25% cooler now, and overall performance has seen enhancements.
Design and Features
These speakers offer a slim profile with a small footprint suitable for desk spaces, with the ability to be positioned both vertically and horizontally. They feature Balanced Mode Radiator drivers from Tectonic Audio Labs and support Bluetooth and 3.5mm connections.
Concerns Over Availability
A potential drawback is that Drop, now owned by Corsair, no longer manufactures the BMR1 V2 speakers, which could pose replacement issues if faults arise. Nonetheless, the low price mitigates this risk for many buyers.
