Commemorating 25 Years of Xbox
Microsoft has unveiled a new line of hardware peripherals to mark the 25th anniversary of the Xbox console. The collection features gadgets from several manufacturers, with many items available for pre-order.
Translucent Green Aesthetic
A prominent design element across the collection is a translucent green color, which has become associated with the original Xbox console. This aesthetic matches a previously announced Xbox Series X25 limited edition console.
While the original Xbox launched in black with a green circle, translucent designs appeared later. This new collection pays homage to the Halo special edition of the original Xbox.
Featured Peripherals
The collection includes 25th-anniversary versions of the Razer Basilisk V3 Pro 35K mouse, Razer BlackWidow V4 75% gaming keyboard, and Razer Hammerhead V3 X HyperSpeed earbuds. These are reskins, meaning the hardware specifications remain the same as the original products.
Other accessories include a translucent green 8BitDo Ultimate charging dock for Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One controllers, and a translucent green GameSir X5 Lite mobile controller for Xbox. A PowerA sling bag is also part of the collection.
Additionally, a special edition of the Backbone Pro mobile controller is available in clear, translucent blue, and translucent orange, following a translucent green version released last year.
