Apple TV+ Announces 'Neuromancer' Premiere Date and New Trailers at Comic-Con

Neuromancer Adaptation Set for 2027 Release

Apple TV+ has set the premiere date for its series adaptation of William Gibson's 1984 cyberpunk novel, "Neuromancer," for January 22, 2027. The series will consist of ten episodes, with the first two episodes available on the premiere date, followed by a weekly release schedule through March 19.

The announcement was made during Apple's presence at San Diego Comic-Con, where the first official teaser trailer for the series was also unveiled. Callum Turner stars as Case, a hacker, and Briana Middleton plays Molly, an assassin, as they undertake a heist against a corporate dynasty.

In addition to the "Neuromancer" news, Apple TV+ also released new trailers for other upcoming content. These include the second season of "Dark Matter," which is scheduled to be released at the end of August, and the movie "Matchbox."

"Dark Matter" season two will continue the story beyond the original novel by Blake Crouch, with Crouch still writing all the scripts for the new season.

Series Details and Cast

The "Neuromancer" series follows Case, a damaged super-hacker, and his partner Molly, a razor-girl assassin, as they navigate digital espionage and high-stakes crime. The cast also includes Mark Strong, Joseph Lee, Peter Sarsgaard, and Clémence Poésy. William Gibson, the author of the original novel, is an executive producer on the series.
