New Security Camera Release
Baseus announced the launch of its new AI-assisted security camera, the Security PrimeSentinel U2 Pro Outdoor 3K Dual Camera. This device is designed to offer more proactive security measures compared to traditional recording and alert systems.
Key Features and Functionality
A primary feature of the U2 Pro is its motorized spotlight, which tracks and illuminates moving targets. This light serves to deter potential intruders and enhances the quality of video captured in low-light conditions. The camera system includes a fixed 3K camera for constant area monitoring and a second 3K camera with 360-degree pan, tilt, and zoom capabilities. It also offers full-color night vision.
The U2 Pro utilizes AI-powered analysis to detect motion and provide alerts that differentiate between people, pets, vehicles, and activities like package deliveries. It filters out irrelevant movements, such as blowing tree branches, to reduce unnecessary notifications.
Availability and Technical Specifications
The Baseus U2 Pro is available in the US via Amazon for $269.99, with European availability starting October 15th at €269.99. Footage is stored locally on an encrypted 512GB memory card and can be accessed remotely through the Baseus mobile app. Live camera feeds are viewable on Amazon Alexa or Google Home smart devices.
The camera connects wirelessly and is powered by a rechargeable battery offering up to 150 days of use. An included 3W solar panel can provide a full day's power with 40 minutes of sun exposure.
