Musk used his platform on X (formerly Twitter) to label Gibney a "bitter old man" lacking "integrity." He also described the documentary as a "hit piece that misses" and criticized its length, calling it "boring af."

Conspiracy Theory and "Psy Op" Claims

Musk reposted an image suggesting a conspiracy involving the Democratic party, George Soros, Alex Gibney, and Hollywood, stating it was "Accurate." He also referred to the documentary as a "psy op," implying it was a planned psychological operation designed to influence public opinion.

Further comments from Musk included statements like "Gibney has zero integrity. Zero" and "Dogshit is worth more respect than Gibney," reinforcing his negative view of the filmmaker and the film.

Denial of Ex-Partner's Claim

Musk specifically addressed a claim made by his ex-partner, Ashley St Clair, who alleged his team offered her $40 million for a non-disclosure agreement about their relationship. Musk denied this, stating, "She was never offered that and has a history of making false claims."

Criticism of Film's Scope

Musk amplified a post from podcaster Katie Miller, former communications director for Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency. Miller criticized the documentary for allegedly lacking participation from Musk's acquaintances and allies, suggesting it could not be "definitive" without their input.
