Google Cloud has been named a Leader in The Forrester Wave™: Public Cloud Platforms, Q3 2026 report. The company received the highest overall score among all evaluated cloud providers and also secured the highest score in the 'current offering' category.

The report assessed 10 public cloud providers across 30 criteria. Google Cloud achieved the highest possible score in 23 of these criteria, which included areas such as vision, innovation, AI development services, database services, analytics services, containers and Kubernetes services, modernization services, and security services.

Co-Designed Infrastructure for AI

Google Cloud's infrastructure was co-designed by its engineers, developers, and AI researchers over more than a decade. This development process supported products like Gemini, Search, YouTube, Maps, and Gmail.

This approach led to the creation of technologies such as TPUs, the Transformer architecture, Kubernetes, Axion, and Gemini. The company states this integrated AI stack, encompassing compute, orchestration software, modernization tools, and global networks, is crucial for the 'agentic era'.

Forrester's Assessment

Forrester's report noted Google Cloud's vision to enable the 'agentic enterprise' and highlighted the pervasive integration of AI across its platform. This positioning allows Google Cloud to extend its offerings toward business users who are increasingly influencing AI adoption within enterprises.

The report concluded that Google Cloud is suitable for enterprises seeking rapid technological innovation and a broad, AI-enabled cloud platform.
