Muse Code Exits Beta

Meta has formally launched Muse Code out of beta, less than a month after its initial debut. This coding agent is powered by Meta’s Muse Spark 1.2 model and is designed to handle complex software engineering tasks across large codebases.

New Features Introduced

The public launch of Muse Code includes several new capabilities. Inter-session messaging allows separate Muse Code sessions to share context and state directly. Workflows orchestrates teams of specialized agents across larger jobs, carrying intermediate work between stages and returning a single result. Developers can monitor and steer these agents through a dedicated Workflows control room. Additionally, a rewind feature enables developers to roll back conversations and code changes to an earlier point in a session.

Subscription Pricing Model

Alongside the new features, Meta has introduced three new subscription plans for Muse Code, priced from $5 to $50 per month. These new plans add predictable monthly pricing to the product, replacing the previous pay-as-you-go tiers. The prior pricing included a Standard tier at $1.25 per million input tokens and $4.25 per million output tokens, and a Contributor tier at $0.10 and $0.20 respectively, which required users to opt in to data usage for product improvement.
