This move allows Nscale to integrate Anyscale's capabilities for managing and scaling AI tasks across various computing environments, from data centers to servers. Nscale's strategy is to build a vertically integrated AI compute stack.

Anyscale's Role in AI Workload Management

Anyscale was founded by the team behind the open-source Project Ray distributed programming Python framework. Initially, the company developed a platform for projects requiring significant computing power.

Following the launch of GPT-3 in 2022, Anyscale shifted its focus to providing scaling services for large language models, data curation, inferencing, and reinforcement learning. Its platform includes developer tools, observability, and orchestration built around Ray.
