QueryStory, a new startup, has officially emerged from stealth mode. The company secured a $6 million seed funding round in late 2025 from investors including Brightmind Ventures and New York Life Ventures, achieving a valuation of $60 million. This funding has supported the development and piloting of its product with initial customers.

AI-Powered Data Analysis for Enterprises

Co-founded by CEO Shapor Naghibzadeh, CTO Stanley Yang, and CPO David Glusic, QueryStory focuses on providing an AI-powered platform for large enterprises. The platform is designed to analyze extensive, proprietary databases, offering a unified solution for data analysis and review for various business users, such as sales teams and operations managers.

Bridging the AI Trust Gap

Naghibzadeh stated that QueryStory's objective is to bridge the trust gap for AI, enabling enterprises to receive actionable answers from their data. The platform aims to productize the process of data investigation and narrative assembly, which traditionally required significant human judgment and engineering resources. The company's name, QueryStory, reflects its goal of creating data-driven narratives grounded in factual insights.

Founders' Background

Shapor Naghibzadeh's experience includes working as a Google sysops engineer during Operation Aurora and spending six years at Google focusing on data and cybersecurity tools. He later co-founded Chronicle within Google's X Labs. Stanley Yang, a former Google colleague, served as a lead engineer at EvolutionIQ, and David Glusic is an Accenture veteran.
