The feature supports full visibility into the AI agent's output, including live previews, and allows for approval of work before deployment. This integration aims to centralize the coding workflow within Slack, reducing the need to switch between multiple tools.

The new coding channels include dedicated user tabs and features for comparing coding changes and previewing HTML output. Upon completion of their assigned tasks, these channels automatically archive, maintaining an audit log for record-keeping purposes.

Slack Code is available on all Slack plans starting today and is compatible with AI agents available on Slack's marketplace. Founding partners like Claude Code, Devin, Vercel Agent, and GitHub Copilot are expected to integrate with these code channels.
