Spectrum has announced a new perk for its internet customers: a free Amazon Prime subscription. This initiative allows eligible households to access Amazon Prime's services, which typically cost $14.99 per month, without charge.

Eligibility Requirements

The offer is specifically available to customers who qualify for Spectrum Internet Assist, the company's low-cost broadband program. This includes households receiving SSI (such as SNAP and Medicaid) and those participating in the National School Lunch Program (NSLP). The benefit is open to both new and existing Spectrum internet customers, regardless of their current internet service tier.

Claiming the Offer

Customers who already have an Amazon Prime subscription directly through Amazon can transfer it to this new offer. Those with Prime through a third-party service may need to cancel their existing subscription and re-enroll through Spectrum. The program is reportedly still rolling out, so some eligible users might encounter a "Service Unavailable" message initially.
