Tapbots has released Pastebot 3, an updated version of its clipboard manager for Mac. This release comes almost a decade after Pastebot 2. The application requires macOS 26 Tahoe or later to operate.

Users can purchase Pastebot 3 directly from Tapbots for $39, which includes one year of updates. Subsequent annual updates cost $19. Alternatively, a subscription model is available through the App Store for $2.99 per month or $24.99 per year, though the App Store version is currently awaiting Apple's approval. Owners of Pastebot 2 are eligible for a $12.99 upgrade discount.

New and Enhanced Features

Pastebot 3 introduces several new features alongside existing functionalities. Key additions include Custom Pastebins for organizing and storing clippings, and rule-based Smart Pastebins for automated organization. The Quick Paste Menu, accessible via Shift + Command + V, provides rapid access to clipboard history.

The update also emphasizes powerful filters, allowing users to create and apply custom filters before pasting content. A new 'Create a Stack' feature enables copying multiple items and pasting them sequentially. Other features include iCloud Sync, Shortcuts and CLI support, keyboard shortcuts, and universal clipboard functionality.
