Warp's founder and CEO, Zach Lloyd, predicts that software factories will become as widespread as CI/CD within a few years. While experts acknowledge the growing traction of software factories, they express more caution regarding the timeline. Lee Faus, founder and CEO of Atomic Software, notes that a deeper infrastructure problem, specifically tracing agent work and establishing a system of record for the factory, needs to be solved before widespread adoption.
