Creators such as ItsBunniiASMR, Slight Sounds, Nananightray, Roseasmr, Simoneasmr, and Janina Wilhelmsen received notices of channel removal. These individuals had established followings on YouTube, and their removal has caused confusion among the ASMR community, especially since many other ASMR creators remain active on the platform.

Impact on Creators' Livelihoods

The bans have had a direct financial impact on the affected creators. Slight Sounds, an ASMR artist since 2013, stated that her YouTube channel was her full-time career and a primary source of income through sponsorships and ad revenue. The sudden removal of her channel means a loss of income and a platform for audience engagement.

Beyond financial concerns, creators also expressed distress over losing their archived work and communities. The bans represent not only a loss of income but also the disappearance of years of content and established connections with their audience.
