Apple Arcade's Sneaky Sasquatch and Subway Surfers+ launch crossover event and new birdwatching update

Crossover Event Details

Apple Arcade has launched a crossover event between two of its games, Sneaky Sasquatch and Subway Surfers+. This event, available through October 7, integrates elements of Subway Surfers+ into the Sneaky Sasquatch game world. Players can unlock four character skins and two unique hoverboards. The event also features a reimagined level inspired by Sasquatch Valley, where raccoon coins replace gold ones and the security guard appears in a ranger disguise.

Upcoming Birdwatching Update

Following the crossover, Sneaky Sasquatch will receive a significant update on September 17. This update introduces a birdwatching feature, allowing players to find and photograph over 30 species of birds. Players can deliver these photos to a birder to log them in a database and earn rewards.

Photo Grading System

The birdwatching feature includes a grading system for photographs. Photos are evaluated based on composition and subject quality, with bonus points awarded for rare birds, new sightings, or shots capturing multiple birds. This encourages players to seek out diverse and high-quality photographic opportunities within the game.

Additional Content

In addition to the in-game events, Apple has also released Sneaky Sasquatch stickers for use in the iMessage application. This provides another way for fans to engage with the game's content outside of the Apple Arcade platform.
