Emberville is a new top-down action RPG from Cygnus Cross, a studio co-owned by Twitch streamer Ben "CohhCarnage" Cassel. The game integrates dungeon crawling and looting mechanics, similar to Diablo, with life-simulation elements found in games like Stardew Valley.

Visuals and Voice Acting

The game features lush pixel art and dense environments, with slick animations. Emberville includes a voice cast with notable actors such as Baldur's Gate 3 narrator Amelia Tyler, BAFTA and Game Awards winner Jennifer English, Abubakar Salim, Matt Mercer, and Ben Starr.

Combat and Gameplay Mechanics

Emberville's combat system allows players to switch between weapons like swords, bows, and fists, which can have stun effects. The game does not include stamina management, a design choice that differentiates it from many other action RPGs.
